Vessel is taken to open water and brought to its standard cruising RPM.
Speeds and temperatures are measured. Gauges are read and information is documented.
Visual inspection of the engine room is accomplished by the surveyor.
All electronics aboard are tested; GPS, Radar, Depth sounder, Autopilot, VHF etc.
Vessel is brought to max power for a very brief amount of time and temperatures, pressures, gauges and RPM’s are observed and documented.
Vessel is returned to home slip for remainder of survey process.
