Define search area; local, regional i.e. (mid-Atlantic/northeast/southeast) or worldwide.
Review the list of potential yachts selected for you by your AYC broker each with a full compliment of photographs and specifications.
Choose the yachts you wish to visit. Your AYC Yacht Broker will schedule visits to each yacht.
Identify the best yacht for your needs and submit a Purchase Agreement. Standard AYC Purchase Agreements require a 10% deposit check.
Organize necessary financing and schedule a survey and sea-trial of the vessel.
Review the survey report and finalize any areas of concern.
Obtain insurance, secure dockage and arrange for a “closing date”.
Submit funds, close the deal and transfer all relevant paperwork and Owner documentation.
